How to Become an Authorized User  Main Menu

Authorized user access is granted to those persons or category of persons as defined in the Registration of Deeds Regulations approved to file instruments electronically.

The firm, authorized by the Regulations, must complete a Request for Authorized Access form and forward it to the Director of Commercial Registrations for approval. Prior to access being granted, users will be required to participate in training in filing deeds online. This training will be provided by the staff of the Commercial Registrations Division.

Each authorized firm, through the firm’s authorized administer, will be responsible for designating the individuals who will be accessing Online Deeds Registration (ODR).

There are three specific categories of users associated with ODR. These user roles are:

  • Firm User Administration
